Finding Someone New

After I found that law student to look after Filbert, I haven’t actually needed to check up on more people. Kind of sad. I have the uncanny ability to find a person now online but I haven’t had reason to do it! Oh, well, I hope these people search links serve you as well as they’ve served me. They’re super useful, I swear! So check them out! Enjoy them as your very own!

I’m Back!

So my trip out of town went really well - except that one of my longtime friends was like: “What’s wrong with your hair?” I got defensive! I was like, “This is how my hair always looks.” She said, “Exactly.” Ew, can you believe that? However, it got to me, so I found this article about how to get a hair style not a haircut. We’ll see how this goes. Filbert was find on my trip out of town. Marcus, that law student I found using people finder, totally checked out. Note to word: You can find people to do all your dirty work for you.

I’m Outtie!

Just a quick note to say that I’m heading out of town next weekend, and I managed to find someone to look after Filbert. You can imagine how stressful that was, especially after he ran away last time. I put up an ad online looking for someone with turtle watching experience and who would appreciate my concerns about his diet - since he’s doing so much better now that he’s eating meat! I did a background check on this man named Marcus who’s a law student living in the area, and it totally checked out, and he even had some suggestions for Filbert’s diet! Who knew that organic greens would make such a difference? Anyway, so I’m glad he’s in good hands. Oh, and are you as excited as I am that twingly goes beta?

Feeding Filbert

Now that Filbert is back, I want to make sure he never has cause to run away again. My suspicion is that he left because of the food. I admit, things were really boring around here. I was feeding him commercial turtle pellets. They looked terrible and unappetizing, and I noticed Filb would take awhile to eat his food. So when he was missing, I mentioned my plight on a turtle lover’s forum. They asked what he was eating, and when I told them commercial food, they all recommended me much better alternatives to that stuff. It’s ultra processed and just generally unhealthy. Not at all what a wild turtle would eat. Plus, it turns out that Filbert is a Chinese 3-Striped Box Turtle, which is a mostly carnvirous species. So I’ve started feeding him lean cuts of meat, shrimp, insects, organ meat, etc, and Filbert is happy as a clam (I also feed him clams now). His shell seems smoother, he’s always poking his head out and smiling at me, and I doubt he’s gonna run away again. But I want to make sure, so I’ve been looking for a good turtle nutritionist. I got a name of one on the forum, but I’ve been trying to use person lookup to get his vital info. You know, search people to make sure his credentials are up to snuff. I’ve also been cruising this Giant Lists website. Hilarious lists like this one about Real Bollywood Movie Titles. Funny. Oh yeah..does anyone know much about omega 3 supplements? I want to start taking them. Maybe they’re good for Filbert too…

Filbie is Found!

Filbert is back, guys! I was sitting on my porch, just doing some whittling (btw, I was whittling a great model of a tortoise) and Filbert comes walking down the street. He clambered up the steps, looked at me, even nodded a little, and then just walked right on in like nothing was up. I followed in a minute and Filbert was sitting in the kitchen munching on some baby greens. Crazy, right? I’m just so damn happy. I had figured he was completely lost. Have you guys ever had an experience like that? If not, but you want to you, follow this link to help you find people. Or this one to help you find person. People search works, guys, trust me! Visit Giant Lists and read this hilarious list of sacred luxuries.

Can’t Find Filbert!

No, there’s not a filbert shortage. Filberts are still available in massive quantities. In fact, I just bought three pounds of them at Costco. It’s Filbert the turtle that’s gone missing. My Filbie’s gone, guys! I’m not sure what to do. You might think you wouldn’t get attached to a turtle, but I’m totally attached. Filbert had just started sleeping with me. He could crawl up into my bed! I was totally baffled as to how Fil made it up into my bed, but he did it! Now I guess I can understand how he’s missing. If a turtle can crawl into a queen sized bed, he can definitely escape. The thing is, I didn’t even get the idea that Filbert wanted to leave. He seemed totally happy. This is just so perplexing. Filbert’s been gone since Wednesday, and all I have left is a little pile of almond crumbs. Strangely enough, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective was just on TBS. Pretty damn funny, and it’s given me the idea to possibly find a pet detective to look for Filbert. Hopefully, I can find someone who can help me. People search helped me find Filbert in the first place…I just hope it can help me find him again. There’s this helpful link about finding your biological parents, but honestly I’m not thinking about that right now. Wish me luck, guys.

Filberts, Turtles, and Background Checks

Well folks, I’m up to 12 miles! And it’s not even THAT hard. I mean yeah, it’s tough, but it’s not harder than six miles was last month. That’s progress, right? I just know I’m gonna smoke that marathon in March. 14.2 miles more is nothing. Oh! I got a new pet. A turtle. His name is Filbert, like the nut. He kinda looks like a nut, and so far he’s nutty (crazy). He also eats nuts (but strangely enough not filberts). The vet says nuts shouldn’t cause any problems, so it’s a match made in heaven. It’s a funny story how I got Filbert. I got him through a breeder, who I checked out beforehand using a background check. Wanted to make sure the turtle breeder was reputable. Anyway, at the same time I was using a private eye site to look up an old friend. It turns out that both my friend and the breeder are the same person! Crazy huh? I’ve also been looking into getting into the real estate business. Apparently you can learn how to buy and sell real estate online. The internet never ceases to amaze me. Bye bye!

Traffic Tickets, Background Checks and Web Detectivity

Hello again everyone! I am back, and so happy to be here… let me tell you. I am training for a marathon I will run in March, and I just did my first six mile run ever. It was hard, and I am so happy to be sitting down now. I don’t know how I am going to do 20 more miles on top of that. Anyway, I have some cool site recommendations for you all to check out if you are so inclined. I know I am. I have found the best sites this month… just surfing around too. One is about background checks - which I personally don’t do a lot of, so it was interesting reading about it. One is about being a web detective… which is always exciting! Lastly, I’ve been spending some time on GiantLists.com - Get Out of A Ticket. These excuses that may (or may not) help one get out of a ticket are hilarious. Seriously people, check this site out… but only if you’re ready to laugh.

People search updates and gross keyboards.

I really really really need to clean my keyboard. Not only does it look disgusting, but I think at this point it might actually be making the underarea of my nails dirty too. G-R-O-S-S, right? Yeah.

What else? Oh yeah! I have lots of great stuff to tell you about. I found a new site that’s really good aboutpeople search engines, and another one about how to be a really elite people finder (which I obviously already am). I also found this site, and I can’t remember if I’ve already told you about it or not, but it’s called FindAnyoneNow.net, and they have the BEST articles. Some are about people search, and finding people in the traditional sense, but some are about finding people like… a Realator (I didn’t know that some of them had extra special licenses, and some of them only have basic licenses), or a dog trainer or a life coach. It’s awesome. Also awesome is lunch - which is what I’m going to go have now. Catch you later!

Crayon flower and heart and people search

My friend’s daughter made me a picture with a flower and a heart on it. I hung it on my fridge door. Now I see it every time I go to get a coke out of there (or anything else for that matter). I just went to get a coke out of the fridge. So… that’s why I bring it up. It was fresh on my mind, along with people search and finding people of course. People searching online is probalby my favorite hobby these days. There are so many different places to search with all the social networks and people searching engines popping up (what seems like) every day. My second favorite thing to do is read about people who feel the same way about people search as I do. Like this person I’m about to link you to. Their blog is awesome. It is all about find person, and I just love it. My third favorite thing in the world is to laugh - especially at sarcastic humor. Thus, I love this site too: GiantLists.com. Man, they have some funny stuff on there! I love it. Anyway… I’m feeling a bit hungry now so I’m back to look at the picture of the flower and heart on the fridge and find something to eat. Bye.
